Call for "Digital Media Coach" training program

Baltic Centre for Media Excellence (BCME) in cooperation with DW Akademie announces a call for managers at public broadcasters and independent media from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to apply for a "Digital Media Coach" training program to enhance their digital development strategies. 

Nine media managers will be selected through an application process according to their experience, motivation for digital changes and willingness to reach young users. When selected participants in all project actions, attention is paid to regional and gender balance. The applicants must meet the following criteria: 

• have professional experience in independent media;
• demonstrate the motivation to develop further professionally;
• demonstrate the motivation to develop digital strategies, or implement youth-friendly formats to reach digital eudiences. 
• The applicant's media company must be based and registered in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania.  

The selected nine media managers will be offered three thematic coaching events with international experts. Within the framework of these meetings, participants will exchange ideas and network across national borders. The selected media managers are expected to participate in three thematic coaching events focusing on the development of digital strategies, change processes in media companies and reaching young digital users. . At the end of the training, as a final stage of the learning process, all participants will create an implementation plan for their digital strategy or format and present it at the final offline closing event.

In order to apply, please  submit the following documents in English:

• a filled-in and signed application form (see below) outlining your motivation, a vision of the digital strategy development of the outlet and your profesional plans, for example, projects or innovations to be implemented;
• your up-to-date professional CV (resume).
