“Baltic Media Healthcheck”
As audience numbers and advertising revenues fall, it is important to monitor the financial situation and the sustainability of both publicly and privately owned national, regional and local media in the Baltics. The study identifies problems in monetisation of news outlets’ digital presence, as well as the lack of multimedia reporting and digital communication skills as the biggest risks to be addressed in the nearest future.
