Research
One of the key focus areas of BMIC is in-depth analysis of the media landscape in the Baltic states and Eastern Partnership countries. This work helps identify strategic directions for the future development of the media sector and highlights critical issues that require collective attention. BMIC conducts research on a wide range of topics — including the challenges hindering media development in the Baltic and Eastern Partnership regions. It also carries out audience analysis, monitors the evolving needs of media outlets, and provides detailed reports on the operations of public service media and various aspects of disinformation. Leading experts in media and journalism programs are involved in the research process, and the results are highly valued by both media professionals and their funders.
