On 15 – 18 September 2025 the Baltic Center for Media Excellence and the Riga Graduate School of Law together with project partner from Uzbekistan – the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan , organize online training seminar on investigative journalism for journalists, civil activists and bloggers, students of journalism and press and communication officials in Uzbekistan.
The training programme include topics on the investigative journalism basics and ethics; multi-platform storytelling for different platforms; strategies for community engagement; establishing financial sustainability; strengthen support against harassment and attacks on journalists. The training will gather journalists, civil activists and bloggers, students of journalism and press and communication officials in Uzbekistan.
Journalist and media expert Inga Spriņģe (Latvia) and expert and journalist Lola Islamova from the Modern Journalism Development Center (Uzbekistan) share their knowledge and experience as lecturers.
